Well here it is "Hump Day"! Which makes this Day 3 of PLMI and today's assignment is:
"What surprised me about this day?"
That after a really rough start to the day it ended on a good, fun note. A few ladies noticed that I was having a "moment" and were concerned enough to ask me.
"What touched me about this experience?"
That was great to know that they cared enough about a stranger's well being to ask if she was okay. They must be great librarians for their communities.
"What inspired me about this experience?"
I was inspired to get over my personal problem and focus on the task before me.

You made it over the hump! Way to go! That's one of the hardest things about being a "professional" -- putting self aside to face the task at hand. Easier said than done some days, but with the help of friends and colleagues, we can get through. I will encourage you when tough times come in the future -- if you're having a VERY difficult time and can't cope -- go home. It's OK. We would not have let you leave today, but when you're the boss, you can leave and take the day off. Even librarians have bad days.
